Register a BotServices UserID

READ THIS:

Before you can apply for a BotServices Bot, you must have a registered User ID on the CN bots.

If you do not apply with a valid userID, your application will be discarded.

If you have a current UserID please skip to the Apply Link at the bottom of this page

If you DO NOT have a valid UserID, follow the instructions below to register your UserID.

If you do not have an active UserId on the CN bots on ChatNet,
you must first register a USERID on the CN bots before you can apply
for a bot at our website.

Please do the following if you wish to apply for a bot(s):

Pick a password of 8 or less characters, make it difficult to guess and not
the same as any other passwords you may have !
DO NOT use same password as K9 !!!!!

  • Join #botservices channel

  • Pick one of the CN-xx bots, it does not matter which.

  • /msg CN-xx register *yournick* *yourpassword*
    *yournick* should be the same as K9 nick
    *yourpassword* is the password you chose above.

    Bot should respond to you and tell you your nick was registered or give you a reason why it was not successful.
